Senior Men Enjoying Morning Coffee
Every Thursday morning at 8:00 senior Men gather at the Charley Brown room at North Star Bowl for coffee, pastry and good conversation. Attendees include long time residents, newcomers to the valley and those in-between. Sponsored by the Deerfield Valley Aging in Place Initiative, conversation ranges from local history to current events; sports and entertainment; personal experiences and opinions. (We try to minimize politics and religion.)
The Charley Brown room is a community facility maintained by Steve Butler, owner of North Star Bowl. The room is big enough and private, so we are free to express our opinions. We are always looking for new men to join us. There is no charge and no reservations are needed. Just show up. If you have any questions, call Aging in Place at (802) 451-6941.
